La Pâtisserie des Marseillais
It is in the heart of Marseille, near the Old Port, that the "Pâtisserie des Marseillais" is located. Warm humor is the order of the day as is the excellence of the selected ingredients: candied fruits from Apt, quality chocolate, extra fresh butter, French flour without additives.
Pascal Guglielmi is tied to gastronomy and to family traditions: his father is himself a pastry chef. Trained at the Bellouet Conseil school in Paris alongside Jean-Michel Perruchon Meilleur Ouvrier de France (the best artisan in France), Pascal offers you a selection of seasonal with, sometimes, a Marseillaise accent to his creations. Notre Dame de la garde cookie (the main monument in Marseille) is an illustration of this.

"Making my pastries with this unique-tasting butter is both paying homage to Charente Maritime, the department where I grew up, but also sharing with you all my childhood memories.
This butter we used for my grandmother’s toast, but also in the delicious Charentaise galette that we used to eat all the time! Sometimes I think back to the village of Beurlay, which I used to go through with my family where the smell of butter was omnipresent. (this is the village where Charentaise cakes are made)."
